Did Jesus Really Live Again?
This was so much fun! I realized that this song is all about presenting evidence that Jesus was resurrected, and that each line of the song is a piece of evidence presented to prove it. So lets make a police investigation!
- 10 images, each representing a line of the song
- The "Did Jesus Really Live Again?" Paper printed with 10 ribbons taped on the back
- 10 clues printed and hidden throughout room. (You may need to re-write them if they don't work for your primary room but I tried to make them generic enough that they'll work anywhere.)
Directions:
Print the images, clues, and the title page (Did Jesus Really Live Again) That is 7 pages. They do not have to be on card stock.
Cut 10 strips of ribbon or yarn and tape them around the edges on the back of the title page.
Before anyone gets to the primary room, you will want to hide your clues. I used the bulletin board with pins, but you could also use magnets or ticky-tack on the chalk board.
The file included tells you where to hide each clue. They are:

- By the piano
- Under a random chair (I used ticky-tack to attach it to the bottom side of the chair)
- Behind a framed picture (I used ticky-tack to attach it to the wall behind a frame. It can be completely hidden)
- With a teacher -- the clue says to find an adult wearing a certain color. So during sacrament I saw one our teachers was wearing yellow, so I wrote yellow in on the clue and then gave it to her to hide on her person until the kids came looking for it.
- In a stack of small chairs
- In the podium
- By the doorway
- With a male teacher (the clue specifically asks to get it from a male teacher, so if you don't have one you may need to re-write it. Give it to him in advance to hide among his things.)
- In the hymnbooks (we have a shelf with a lot of hymnbooks on it so I slipped it between them)
- Behind the curtains
